Reel Maintenance Day
« on: February 27, 2010, 05:47:37 PM »
Took several reels apart today.

With the rain and cold weather I could not finish up on my boat so I pulled several of my reels apart for some much needed cleaning and lube.

I use mostly freshwater bait casting reels for saltwater fishing requiring frequent maintenance. So several times a year I pull them apart and clean and lube them.

I’m hoping to get my boat back in the water tomorrow to test the new  Jack Plate, Hydraulic steering and Trolling Motor and do a little fishing.

My wife off work tomorrow, so she might have different plans for me.

Topdog and I are taking his boat on Monday for a little fishing so if I don’t get to play with the reels tomorrow then Monday for sure.

Anyone make it to Fishing Franks Tent sale today.

I went around 9 saw Topdog and his wife there.
I didn’t get very much, just some hooks.
