have it's own aquapalooza sort of thing like a boating party. we can just hang out and share fishing spots and what not. It's just a thought I thought would be pretty fun! If anybody likes the idea let me know and we can all set it up. toast

Sounds fun to me. It could be like a boating club, only about fishing! Just have to figure out a central point where everyone could meet.   scrach

Sounds like a great idea,
Like Donahue said, we need to find a central spot.

If it works out then we can see about trailing our boats to a location where a member lives and we have not fished before. This would allow members to fish unfamiliar waters with a local angler.

I would think the more the marrier?!   why

I have kids myself & I think my wife would like to go as well. I think it would be a fun thing! It could be, like I said, something like a boat club?! We could do something like what Dave suggested. Only thing is, Dave & I live roughly in the same area & fish the same waters. I guess it will all be something to discuss later, once we all establish what is going on with this thing.   confused

Well, that is the type of thing we need to be sure of. We need to set up a day when everyone will be able to do this. Also, we still need to choose a place.    scrach

Lets hear some suggestions! I would think the best place would be some type of park like area, that way there is plenty of room for all of us. I would think the best times would be somewhere around 11am or around 4pm, that way it is somewhat cool & not blistering hot.

It is a great idea for us to get together and do some fishing.

As long as it is not an offshore tip I’m willing to trailer my little boat to any area around here to get together and fish.

I’m also willing to use my bigger boat and take a few member out to do an offshore tip out of Charlotte Harbor.

I can fish 4 very comfortably.

Let do some fishig  rod

Yeah, offshore sounds like fun! Never been myself, it'd be interesting to try!

We should discuss a place to meet & a time.

Any suggestions??

I would say Harbor Heights Park. Sometime in the afternoon on a weekend.

jump while reading this post i seen it drifted from a get together to a fishing trip.  Although im up for a fishing trip, i think just a fish fry or even hotdogs and hamburgers sounds like a sweet deal. We could even meet at parks and boat ramps so we could fish a little bit to. lakefishing  If anybody has some ways to make these ideas better please post them.   drink
