April Fishing

%4%  Coming down from Minnesota again this spring.  End of April time frame.  What's hot for fishing that time of year?  Typically rent a boat and fish Charlotte Harbor, Boca, Captiva Pass areas.  Thanks for any info.  Dusty
You've got to think lucky. If you fall into a mudhole, check your back pocket - you might have caught a fish!

If you have fished Charlotte Harbor before you know it has miles of mangrove shorelines, shallow grass flats and lots of sand and oyster bars loaded with Snook, Trout, Redfish and Tarpon that time of the year.

The end of April is better as the water temperature warms up approaching the ideal temperature of 82 degrees.

The end of April through the middle to end of July is Tarpon time and one of the reason I choose Charlotte Harbor as home.

April and May are some of the best months to fish Charlotte Harbor, with the variety of fish, great catching action and enjoyable weather, it is my favorite time of the year.

Getting excited to get out!  I think we're going to rent a boat for 3 days out of Cape Coral.  It'll be fun.
