Outboard Shipping
« on: December 16, 2009, 11:25:29 AM »
I'm selling an old outboard of mine and the guy im selling it to quickly wanted to buy it, so he sent me a check and i just got it in the mail today, turns out hes paying 1,000 for shipping when the motor costs 500!!!!!!!!!

I was just wondering would anybody else out there ever do that, and maybe should i pick a cheap shipping company and keep the extra money :S.

How much does it weigh?

If it is only a few hundred pounds, check with Fedex Ground.

I hope you held it until the check cleared. Sounds like he was trying to scam you.
